A morning of recruiting, in three asks
You ask in plain English. Your agent does the work in your Betterleap workspace and shows you what it did, step by step.
Find ICU nurses in Boston with at least 5 years of experience.
I found 20 ICU nurses in the Boston area with five or more years of bedside experience. The strongest matches:
| Candidate | Current role | Experience | Contact |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maria Delgado, RNBoston, MA | ICU Staff NurseCharles River Medical Center | 8 yrs | |
| James Okafor, RN, CCRNBoston, MA | Critical Care NurseNorth Shore General | 11 yrs | |
| Priya Natarajan, RNBoston, MA | ICU Charge NurseLongwood Community Hospital | 6 yrs | |
| Daniel Reyes, RN, CCRNBoston, MA | Cardiac ICU NurseHarbor Point Medical | 9 yrs | |
| Hannah Kim, RNBoston, MA | MICU Staff NurseBack Bay Health | 5 yrs | Phone |
Want the full profile for any of them, or should I start a project with all 20?
Create a project called “ICU nurses, Boston” with these candidates and draft a 3-step outreach sequence.
Done. The three emails are written with each candidate's name and current employer filled in, four and five days apart.
- 1Day 1A critical care role in Boston worth a look
- 2Day 4Following up, Maria
- 3Day 9Closing the loop
Nothing has been sent. Read the emails over, tell me what to change, and say “launch” when you want the sequence to start from your inbox.
Which candidates replied positively this week?
Five candidates replied. Three are interested:
- InterestedMaria DelgadoYes, I'd be open to hearing more. Thursday afternoon works for a call.
- InterestedDaniel ReyesInterested, though I'm on nights until the 20th.
- InterestedPriya NatarajanCould you send the pay range and the shift pattern?
- Out of officeJames OkaforOut of the office until Monday.
- Not interestedHannah KimNot looking right now, thanks for reaching out.
Maria suggested Thursday afternoon, Daniel is on nights until the 20th, and Priya asked for the pay range and shift pattern. Want me to draft replies to the three of them?
Real recruiting work, done by asking
Find candidates
Search Betterleap's healthcare talent data in plain English: role, specialty, location, years of experience, certifications. Your agent returns the matching candidates with their current role and employer and whether a verified email is on file, and can pull the full profile of anyone you point at.
Build your pipeline
Turn a search into a project in one ask. Your agent creates the project, adds the candidates (people already in it are skipped), can bring in a list of your own contacts, and reports the funnel whenever you ask: sourced, contacted, opened, replied, interested.
Engage candidates
Your agent drafts the outreach: a multi-step sequence with subject lines, body copy and the days between steps, personalized for each candidate. Sequences start only when you say launch and send from your own connected inbox, business days only if you prefer. A one-off email is shown as a preview first.
Stay on top of replies
Ask who replied and your agent reads the replies across your projects and sorts them: interested, not interested, out of office. You get the names, what each person said and a suggested next step, so follow-up goes to the people who want to talk.
Work smarter, without giving up control
Betterleap's built-in permissions, outreach limits, and safeguards apply whether you're working in Betterleap or through Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
Review before sending
Preview individual emails before they go out. Nothing sends until you approve it.
Launch when ready
Build projects and prepare sequences without sending. Launch, pause, or stop outreach when you choose.
Your rules still apply
Send from your connected inbox, with your existing sending limits, schedules, and do-not-contact protections.
Controlled access
Connect with your Betterleap account. Your agent only accesses your workspace, and you can disconnect it anytime.
Choose your AI agent
Each one connects to the same Betterleap workspace. Pick the agent your team uses and follow its setup page.

Curious what makes this work?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is what lets an AI agent securely connect to tools like Betterleap. Instead of switching between apps, you ask your agent to work with your recruiting data and tools, and it does, under your account and with your permission.
Betterleap connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot the same way. Other AI agents that support MCP connections can be set up with our team.
The developer platform exposes every tool with its inputs, permissions and pricing. Read the developer documentation or see the platform overview.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a developer or IT to set this up?
Not for Claude or ChatGPT: you add Betterleap yourself in a couple of minutes. For Microsoft 365 Copilot, a Microsoft 365 administrator adds Betterleap once for the organization; after that, connecting is a sign-in. Nothing is installed on your computer and there is no key to manage.
Which AI agent should I use?
The one your team already has. All three connect to the same Betterleap workspace and can do the same work; only the setup differs. Claude and ChatGPT you connect yourself in a couple of minutes; Microsoft 365 Copilot is added once by your Microsoft 365 administrator.
Can your agent send emails without me knowing?
No. A one-off email is shown to you as a preview and only goes out when you explicitly tell your agent to send it. Sequences are created without sending and start only when you say launch; you can pause or stop them the same way. Everything sends from your own connected inbox, on your usual sending schedule.
What does your agent see?
Only your Betterleap workspace, through your own sign-in: the candidates you search for, your projects, sequences, connected inboxes and replies. It never sees another customer's data. Disconnect it from the agent's own settings at any time, which ends its access immediately.
Does this cost extra?
Access is switched on per Betterleap workspace as part of your Betterleap agreement. Your account manager, or [email protected], will confirm what is included for yours and turn it on.
Does this replace the Betterleap app?
No. Your agent works in the same workspace: a project it creates is the same project your team sees in Betterleap, with the same candidates, sequences and replies. Use whichever is quicker for the task at hand.
Can I use other AI agents?
Any AI agent that supports MCP connections can be set up with our team; the developer documentation has the details.
