Credits
Tool calls are paid in credits. Free tools cost nothing; billable tools cost between 1 and 10 credits per successful call, as listed on the Docs page. A credit is worth 2¢, so a 10-credit search is 20¢. Misses (a 404) and tool errors (a 500) are refunded automatically; you only pay for calls that returned a result.
Unused credits carry over from month to month.
Subscription
The MCP Platform subscription is $200 per month for 10,000 credits, refilled on every billing cycle. It includes all 22 tools, unlimited API keys and service accounts, usage analytics with a full credit ledger, and access to the billing portal. Cancel any time.
Creating an account is free and needs no card. Subscribe when you're ready to make calls; until then, billable tools return a "subscription_inactive" error.
Managing billing
On the Billing page:
- Subscribe opens a secure card checkout. Your first credits arrive within seconds of payment completing; if the status hasn't updated, give it a few seconds and refresh.
- Once active, Manage billing opens the customer portal, where you update the card, download invoices and cancel.
- The Credits card shows your balance and its dollar value; Recent activity lists every credit movement with the tool, amount and balance after.
When credits run out
A call that the balance can't cover returns a 402 "insufficient_credits" error that includes your balance and the amount required, so an agent can stop cleanly rather than fail mid-run. Frequently asked questions
Are credits shared across my API keys?
Yes. All keys in a workspace draw from one balance; the ledger and Top tools table show which key spent what.
What happens to my balance if I cancel?
Remaining credits stay usable until the end of the paid period. After that, billable tools return "subscription_inactive" until you resubscribe.
Can I see spend per tool?
The dashboard's Top tools (30d) table shows calls and credits by tool, and the ledger shows every individual charge and refund.
